Vision
We are laity people striving to serve our community by using traditional and digital media platforms as a means to communicate during this time of Pandemic. Our vision is to inform, educate, and inspire the faithful by increasing awareness of the various ministries and programs offered by Our Lady of Soledad Parish.
Mission
With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Communications Ministry provides our parishioners’ current information and a platform to evangelize, affirm and strengthen our community of faith. It serves as an instrument by outreaching, connecting, supporting, and bringing together our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Living our Mission
Our communication ministry team is composed of Fr. Francisco Gomez, S.T., Dr. Maricela Hernandez, Rene Tinajero, Joseph Alcon, Brenda Salmeron, Aeden Fernandez and Carla Rizya. The communications platforms we use at Our Lady of Soledad are Facebook, OLOS Website, OLOS YouTube Channel, Flocknote, LPI Church Bulletin and snail mail.
Our Lady of Soledad set up a Facebook page to ensure our community of faith learned about any changes in our Mass services as well as access the links for the online services.
In an effort to reach parishioners who are not connected to social media, we are using Flocknote (SMS-Texting Service) to inform and connect with them.
