Sister Florence Waters, MSBT says goodbye

Missionaries always on the move.

We as Missionary Servants are called by our vow of obedience not to stay long on a mission. I have had the honor and privilege of sharing faith and fellowship with you for 9 years. This has been the longest mission I have served and now it’s time to say goodbye. This is my seventh mission as a Missionary Servant. I will be leaving the end of May. We have shared so many memories, with the greatest being our welcoming of a New Church and our welcoming of asylum seekers. It has been rewarding to see many of our youth leaders take their skills to careers, journey in faith with our Confirmation youth and support our youth while they pursue college. And now the development of our extended Cenacle Family with our two Missionary Cenacle Apostolate groups adds to my joy. My life has been blessed and graced as we walked through this pandemic together. Our Lady of Soledad will always be held as a treasure in my heart with so many stories to share of the awesome graces working and moving through the lives of so many. Missionary Servants seek to Glorify our Triune God and are called to preserve the faith and develop the laity and to work among the poor and abandon. Now it is time to pray for and encourage vocations from the community here. A vocation to religious life has many joys and experiences of deepening our personal relationship with Christ and discovering His majesty, graces and spirit working through the community of which we are called to serve. Let us hold each other in prayer as we transition. Peace

In the Trinity,
Sr. Flo
